Online Therapy Offer for CLIENTS IN Singapore
- has been named the most expensive city in the world to live in
- is the 3rd most competitive country in the world
- is the 3rd most densely populated country in the world
Along with a host of other statistics, Singapore is also one of the most highly stressed environments within which to live and work. Although the country boasts many positive attributes (a low crime rate, a green environment, fantastic cuisine etc.), it is a common refrain that life in Singapore is tough. People work long hours, competition at every level from pre-Kindergaren till retirement is rife, and every day living can be a grind. Many feel there must be more to life, and question the meaning of their lives.
Against this backdrop, more and more people are turning to counselling and psychotherapy as a way of coping and overcoming the challenges of life in Singapore, and finding self-fulfillment and self-realization.
HOW I CAN HELP
I am an experienced counsellor who will work with you on your personal and professional issues and crises by addressing your present concerns, and helping you develop awareness, resilience and your own ability to bring about change and personal growth.
My expertise covers depression, stress & anxiety, family & relationship issues, concerns over career & life choices, sexuality & gender issues, addictions, self-esteem issues, bereavement, questions of spirituality & meaning, and challenges arising from cultural identity & difference.
I am available for online sessions during the evening hours (6pm to 10pm Singapore Time) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The special rate for clients in Singapore is S$100 per 50-minute session. I am able to offer therapy in English, Mandarin & Cantonese.
Working online offers accessibility, convenience and a greater sense of privacy. You can avoid any lingering social stigma associated with being in therapy by attending sessions wherever and however you choose in an environment you feel most comfortable and safe in, eliminating travel time and costs.
As an experienced practitioner of online counselling, I am keenly aware of the particular nuances of working through an online connection, and have achieved effective results with my clients.

I was born in Singapore and lived in New York City before settling in London. I am a Registered Member (MBACP No. 072634) of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists [BACP] and maintain a private practice, in addition to working within the National Health Service in the UK, as well as working with instructors in the training of new counsellors and psychotherapists.
Prior to counselling, I worked in the legal and publishing industries, before moving into business & financial consulting, corporate advisory, human resources management, local government and the charity sector. All these formative experiences across cultures and languages were sometimes challenging, always enlightening, and I was inspired to explore human nature and behaviour to gain insight and understanding of what it means to be alive and to live well in today’s world.
