about me & how i work

  • I help you address your issues at present, and enable you to develop awareness, resilience and your own ability to bring about change and personal growth.

  • We will collaborate on examining the challenges you face, make choices and decisions congruent with who you are, and discover your potential for fulfillment and joy.

  • I see adults and adolescents for a wide variety of issues, and have particular experience with people facing cultural, relationship, workplace, gender and sexuality issues, as well as clients with Asian backgrounds, including those who prefer therapy in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.

  • Prior to counselling, I worked in both the legal and publishing industries in New York City, before moving into business & financial consulting, corporate advisory, human resources management, local government and the charity sector in London, and I am well acquainted with the stresses and demands of modern living. With an international, multi-cultural background spanning three continents, I began my process of self-exploration as a teenager, arriving at psychotherapy & spirituality as ways towards discovering meaning in my own life.

  • I am a fully insured MBACP Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy [BACP] and abide by their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. My credentials can be verified against the BACP Voluntary Register.

  • I hold a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling and Psychotherapy, which is accredited by the BACP and validated by the University of East London, and a Certificate in Advanced Clinical Supervision recognised by the BPS (British Psychological Society). In addition to my private practice, I am a Senior Counsellor and Supervisor at The Putneymead Group Medical Practice within the National Health Service [NHS], as well as a Study Tutor for trainee counsellors at The Psychosynthesis Trust. My counselling and therapeutic experience includes working with adolescent students and members of staff at Mander Portman Woodward, a private college in London, and at The Koan Practice, Number 42, and The Central London Samaritans.
